The Ministry of Climate and Environment assumes that 56 percent of the energy Poland needs will be produced from renewable sources by 2030. Outlays to achieve this goal could reach as much as 792 billion zlotys.
According to the Climate Minister, the ministry she heads is finalizing work on the National Energy and Climate Plan. This is to be a strategic document setting goals for the energy transition through 2030.
The assumptions are that in the next six years RES will account for the production of more than half of the energy consumed in Poland, which means a projected green power generation volume of 193 TWh.
These are ambitious but realistic plans. However, their implementation requires not only considerable financial outlays. Above all, it is urgent to formalize the procedures necessary for the construction of RES sources, which will significantly improve the investment climate in this area.
