A report by the Polish Wind Energy Association unequivocally proves that the development of wind energy is extremely important not only for achieving the goals of the energy transition, but also for the Polish economy as a whole.

In its analysis “Offshore – it pays off,” the Association points out that if 18 GW from offshore wind farms can be introduced into the energy mix, we will reduce the price of energy by as much as 50 percent compared to its level with the assumption of 5.9 GW of offshore generation.

Thus, an ambitious approach to the construction of Polish wind power in the Baltic Sea will translate into gigantic savings – after all, energy prices are a key item in virtually every budget, both for companies and households. This is why the construction of wind farms is so important for the entire economy.

However, the development of offshore wind plans, a more ambitious approach in this area, requires significant support for this type of investment and the facilitation of its implementation.
