The National Energy and Climate Plan to 2030 is moving us toward a sustainable future, and we can all be part of this historic breakthrough.
According to the latest data, Poland aims to reach an impressive level by 2030, where as much as 50% of energy will come from renewable sources! This is a huge step towards decarbonizing our economy and protecting the environment.
What does this mean for our energy future? The numbers speak for themselves: the planned onshore wind capacity will be 15.8 GW, solar power 29.3 GW, and offshore wind 5.9 GW (starting in 2026). And this is just the beginning!
But energy storage facilities play a key role in this transition. They are the ones that will provide stability and flexibility to our electricity system, enabling the efficient use of renewable energy.
We also see the growing importance of the heating sector and its connection to the electric power industry. Modern heat storage technologies will be promoted, which will be key to the efficient use of energy.
However, this is not the end of innovations! Energy storage facilities will range from batteries to decarbonized gases. Support for the development of prosumer energy and micro photovoltaic installations will continue, but this time along with energy storage.
It is through such actions that we will become a leader in the energy transition, opening up new opportunities for development and taking care of our planet for future generations. It’s time to act – together we can achieve a lot!
