Projections by the Ministry of Finance indicate that energy prices for households will rise by 15 percent next year. At the same time, a reduction in aid measures is announced, although no specifics have been given so far.
According to the Medium-Term Budget and Structural Plan for 2025-2028 – which includes the above forecast – at the same time indicates the high uncertainty of these projections and their strong dependence on economic policy.
Here, in turn, changes are in the pipeline, which so far boil down to extremely vague announcements of limiting the scope of state aid to energy consumers.
The details are to be known after the budget is passed. So far, its draft provides for 2 billion zlotys for measures to counteract the effects of high energy prices.
