So far, the legislature has failed to make significant changes in the legal regulations for the implementation of RES investments, especially wind power plants. However, changes are constantly being announced. What exactly do these announcements concern?

Media announcements indicate that the Ministry of Climate and Environment has already prepared a draft windmill law. In it, the minimum distance for building windmills is to be 500 meters. Unfortunately, this draft has not yet been published, which actually makes it impossible to evaluate it.

In view of the announcements, however, it is difficult to expect any solutions significantly liberalizing the rules for the construction of wind turbines, although on the other hand some simplifications will certainly appear.

A certain question mark remains the establishment of precise rules for the participation of local communities in the energy produced from RES installations located in their vicinity.
