At Res Global Investment, we focus on the continuous development of our competencies. That’s why we try to be wherever the RES industry meets to exchange experiences and look for new solutions. Undoubtedly, the 3W Congress was such an event.
What is the 3W Congress?
The 3W Congress is one of the most important events for the energy market on the Vistula River, initiated in 2021 by the National Bank. The main area of interest for the Congress participants revolves around the issues of water, hydrogen and non-energy coal – hence the acronym 3W – which are the most important raw materials for the energy industry. The congress is the largest event in this part of Europe, bringing together prominent experts and entrepreneurs dealing with the issues of energy transition and renewable energy sources.
The purpose of the Congress is to exchange experience, establish cooperation and search for new ideas and technological solutions for efficient and environmentally friendly use of water, hydrogen and coal in the energy industry and economy. In any case, for virtually everyone involved in green energy, the 3W Congress is an extremely important event that is simply worth attending. That’s why Res Global Investment was not to be missed during the proceedings.
Development comes first – our participation in the 3W Congress
The latest 3W Congress was held on November 27-28, 2023 in Warsaw. The participation of Res Global Investment representatives was a chance to present our activities, meet extremely interesting people and listen to lectures that allowed us to gain valuable knowledge about the latest trends in green energy. We listened to presentations by Michio Kaku, Andrzej Dragan and Fionn Ferreira, among others.
Michio Kaku is undoubtedly one of the most prominent scientists of our time, a futurologist, professor of physical sciences and author of, among other things, 4 NY Times bestsellers. Among other things, Dr. Kaku works on unifying Einstein’s field theory. He also works on predicting trends affecting our lifestyles, business, finance or medicine. And Andrzej Dragan, on the other hand, is a professor of physics at the University of Warsaw and the National University of Singapoire, engaged not only in scientific work, but also in the popularization of knowledge. Professor Dragan is certainly an uncommon figure. In addition to science, he is also involved in music, photography and film. Fionn Ferreira, a 22-year-old chemistry student who won the Google Science Fair science competition at the age of 18. He is also active as a motivational speaker at various events.
In addition, during the Congress, the Talents of Tomorrow competition was held, 23 best projects were selected and each of the talented, young and promising scientists was awarded a prize of PLN 25,000. This shows how much potential there is in the generation of budding scientists. Their successes are all the more gratifying when one considers that the green energy industry needs technology development, which cannot happen without intensive work by scientists.
