WIND POWER PLANTS IN POLAND: THE NEED FOR CHANGES IN REGULATIONS AND PLANS

Without reducing the minimum distance of wind farms from buildings and introducing appropriate provisions in local zoning plans, it will be impossible to dynamize investment in wind farms. And we all desperately need them.

A considerable challenge turns out to be not only distance regulations, but also the costs of drawing up local plans, which far exceed the capabilities of most municipalities.

However, quite a number of investors are ready to participate in these costs, which, by the way, is fully permissible under the current state of the law.
