During the first month of the call for applications for the My Wind Power Plant program, only 17 applications were received. What are the reasons for this?
The above data were obtained from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management by the editorial staff of GLOBENERGIA.pl. It is worth noting that of the small number of applicants, the largest number comes from the Mazowieckie and Podkarpackie provinces.
The average power of the turbines included in the applications is 4 kW. This is not much, considering that the program was intended to subsidize turbines up to 20 kW.
On the other hand, as for the amounts applied for, the most common figure is 27 thousand zlotys, which is 20 thousand less than the maximum amount that individuals can apply for.
In any case, it seems that the success of photovoltaics will be difficult to repeat – at least in the near term – for domestic wind power plants. Perhaps much more promotion of such solutions is needed.
