Without great professionals – and those representing really different fields – further development of green energy simply won’t be possible. We should already take care of them now.
As ZielonaGospodarka.pl reports, during the Energy Days 2024 conference, the vice-president of Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne noted that one of the biggest challenges of the energy transition on the Vistula remains the availability of services provided by skilled workers – fitters, technicians, engineers or programmers.
Given the huge demand in global markets in connection with the implementation of a wide range of RES investments, we should take care to train specialists in our own backyard.
Fortunately, a number of universities have already made efforts in this regard. Certainly, a special program enabling miners to retrain and move into the renewable energy sector remains an interesting initiative.
In any case, RES remains an opportunity to find employment in professions for which demand will only increase in the coming years.
